Network Looking Glass

Network Looking Glass

Test network connectivity and perform network diagnostics from our data center locations. Our Looking Glass service allows you to run ping tests, traceroutes, and MTR diagnostics to help you make informed decisions about your hosting location.

What is Looking Glass?

A Looking Glass is a network diagnostic tool that allows you to test connectivity and perform network diagnostics from a remote network location. Use it to:

  • • Test network connectivity with ping
  • • Perform traceroutes to destinations
  • • Run MTR (My Traceroute) diagnostics
  • • Check latency from your location
  • • Test IPv4 and IPv6 connectivity

How to Use Looking Glass

Our Looking Glass service provides various network diagnostic tools:

  • Ping / Ping6: Test basic connectivity to an IP address or hostname using IPv4 or IPv6
  • Traceroute / Traceroute6: View the network path to a destination, showing each hop along the route
  • MTR / MTR6: My Traceroute combines ping and traceroute functionality, providing continuous network path analysis
  • Latency Check: Measure latency from your location to the Looking Glass server
  • DNS Checking: Automatic DNS validation to prevent unnecessary command executions

Select a location above to access the Looking Glass interface for that data center. Each location provides the same diagnostic tools from its respective network perspective.
